Members of Christian Medical and Dental Association of Nigeria (CMDA) in the University of Port Harcourt Teaching hospital joined their colleagues in the state to to host the 5th Biennal Eastern Zonal Conference. The conference held at Our Saviors Chapel Uniport with the theme: A LIGHT TO THE NATION.

Speaking during the opening ceremony the Chief Medical Director of UPTH Prof Henry Ugboma who was the Chief host, was represented by Chairman Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC) Prof Datonye Alasia, who welcomed all members of CMDA to Uniport/ UPTH. He said the hospital will do its best to support CMDA, especially in her service to humanity .
