The University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, through its School of Social Development and Occupational Therapy (SOSDOT) in collaboration with the Medical Social Services Department (MSSD), has announced a specialized certificate programme aimed at strengthening capacity in social care and therapeutic services.
The programme, titled “Social Work Interventions & Instrumentation Therapy/Social Care Services,” is designed as a comprehensive two-month training for individuals seeking to build or enhance their skills in social work practice and patient-centered care.

This intensive certificate course is structured to provide participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in modern social work interventions, as well as therapeutic and care service delivery.
