To seek ways to ease the burden of financial processes for staff, patients and their caregivers in the hospital community, the management of UPTH played host to a management team from Polaris Bank.
The bank’s team, led by its divisional head, Raphael Abiaziem, were received by the Chief Medical Director, Professor H.A.A. Ugboma and other members of the hospital management committee.
The bank’s group head of south-east retail, Nkiru Udeafler, said the team is in the hospital “to provide a bouquet of financial services to make financial processes easy for the hospital, provide hospital solutions and equally affect the life of staff”.
The hospital management in seeking ways to ensure that patients are not encumbered with financial processes while trying to access care, is expecting Polaris Bank can make client/customer friendly banking services as they promise to partner with the hospital.
It’s expected that in weeks to come, the bank will unfold its bouquet of commercial banking services as it sites a branch in the hospital.
