Enough of The Campaigns of Calumny Against UPTH

The Management of UPTH wishes to advise the public to be wary of online bloggers who have developed penchant for dragging the reputation of the hospital in the mud.
Recently, in line with this apparently syndicated crusade of malice, an online blog published a story on the "negligence" of a supposed 19year old accident victim by the hospital's medical personnel.
We hereby state categorically that non of the information as presented by publishers of such maligning report is true. If there is truth to be reported, it is that a young male, whom we later found out to be a student was rushed to our facility by a good Nigerian, after the driver who hit the victim sped off. The Hospital's Doctors and other clinicians rendered all medical interventions but the deceased died while treatment was still administered.
What the publishers do not know is that while they are distorting public confidence on accessing healthcare delivery, they are tarnishing the reputation of the Ivory tower of clinical excellence.
These online bloggers should be properly advised. At least they should do due diligence in verifying facts. It will do them and the public a world of good.
At no time, will management of the hospital condone unprofessional practices or negligence on duty . Patients are received and attended to in record time, with expertise and materials available for necessary and appropriate intervention.
The Public is advised to ignore these falsehoods and maintain good faith with the Hospital as we continue to render quality health services to the public.
