SCHOOL OF POST BASIC NURSING STUDIES UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT TEACHING HOSPITAL (UPTH)
Calls on all qualified applicants for admission in a 12-Calendar month Post Basic Diploma Program in Paediatric Nursing and Accident & Emergency Nursing.
Admission Requirements:
SSCE with 5 credits in English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics not more than two sittings. (Combining WAEC and NECO is acceptable).
Registered Nurse/Midwife with a minimum of 1year post qualification experience.
B.NSc. With a PGDE is an advantage. (Selection of candidates will be based on academic qualifications, performance at the entrance exams and oral interview.
GETTING THE FORMS/PAYMENT: Applicants should pay a non-refundable fee N10.000 (ten thousand naira) to Sterling Bank UPTH branch account no: 0029875947 for Accident & Emergency program,
The official receipt will then be used to get the application form from the School of Post Basic Paediatric Nursing or Post Basic Accident & Emergency Nursing.
Selection Interview: Entrance Examination will hold @SPBNS auditorium 16th August 2023 for Paediatric Nursing Program and 17th August 2023 for Accident & Emergency Nursing Program.
Closing date: Completed application forms must be submitted on or before 16th August 2023 for Paediatric Nursing program. And 17th August 2023 for Accident & Emergency Nursing Program, Time 10.00am.
